Billing Service

APMI provides billing services to our clients via the state of the art GE Groupcast practice management system (formerly IDX). Groupcast operates on a wide area network that provides our clients on line, real time access to their information. Claims are filed electronically to insurance plans on a daily basis.

After filing the initial claim, APMI also post payments received to the patients account and bills the patient portion to the patient if applicable. Should a claim or patient account remain unpaid for more than 45 days, APMI will follow up with the appropriate entity to resolve the matter in a timely fashion. In addition, the Groupcast product includes a powerful reporting function that enables us to provide our clients with pertinent, timely information about their practice.
